Our Mission
Welcome to PetMAC – the Marketplace and Adoption Center! PetMAC is a one-stop shop for all your dog or cat needs to be healthy and happy! We specialize in offering all-natural foods with no chemical preservatives and no animal by-products. We look specifically for foods and treats that do not contain corn, wheat, soy or other questionable ingredients. We stock not only the traditional kibble and canned diets for your pet, but we also have freeze-dried, dehydrated and frozen raw diets. We only feed the best to our pets, and we want to offer our customers the same!
In addition to healthy food and treats, we also carry all kinds of toys, including ones that can hold up to the strongest jaws, stylish and durable collars and leashes, comfy cozy beds, behavioral modification products, fragrant shampoos and grooming supplies, doggy apparel including raincoats, winter coats and seasonal clothing such as Halloween costumes and Santa suits!
PetMAC is a locally and woman-owned business. We believe in supporting other American and local businesses by offering a large variety of USA and locally-made foods and supplies.
We believe given the number of homeless dogs and cats languishing in shelters, that animals should not “be bought and sold like gallons of olive oil.” (Know the reference? :-)) We work closely with local rescue groups who offer cats and dogs for adoption. We have resident adoptable kitties who love visitors – whether you’re thinking of adopting or just need your feline fix, be sure to stop by and see them! We donate to rescue fundraisers, and offer discounted supplies to our partner rescue groups and their fosters as our way of saying “thank you” for helping rescue shelter animals.
At PetMAC, we feel there is always more to learn, and more fun to be had! With that in mind, we have periodic seminars by vets and other pet-related experts on topics such as alternative medicines and treatments, the benefits of feeding a raw diet, how to prevent dental disease, and dealing with separation anxiety.
